| Paul trained as an Occupational Therapist (O.T.) at Salford University College, England graduating in 1980. After moving from England to Canada in 1982 he also pursued further part-time studies in psychology, social work and philosophy at the University of Calgary and University of Waterloo, while working full-time in a variety of community mental health programs.Paul believes education is an on-going part of life and to this end remains actively involved in a process of training/education/peer group consultation, in a variety of psychotherapy approaches, with a particular focus in cognitive behavior therapy. Since 1985, Paul has lived and worked in the Durham Region of Ontario and works both as a therapist at Interact Community Mental Health Program in Whitby, In his own independent practice Paul focuses on the delivery of individual therapy sessions via. home visits only and other community settings as appropriate to the therapy goals of his clients. Most recently Paul has started to deliver his services to the Town of Cobourg and area in addition to the Durham Region.Paul is a member of : • College of Occupational Therapists of Ontario (COTO)• Canadian Association of Occupational Therapists (CAOT)• Ontario Association of Occupational Therapists (OSOT)• Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ABCT)Paul makes his home in Ajax, with his wife Terri and their two girls Adriana and Kristen. Paul’s interests outside of his professional life include, enjoying his family life, plus golfing, swimming, tennis, cycling and skiing. |
